Eco-building club
This section is dedicated ‘Eco-building Club' endorsers, all key market operators are invited to join the ‘Eco-building Club' initiative.
The Eco-Building Club is a voluntary initiative without obligation; Club members shall have only the commitments to follow the Club activities and contribute the market transferring of innovative EU RTD/D results through the demonstration of the feasibilities made on real cases.
The Eco-Building Club will work as a virtual round table; around this table, technology developers, providers and professional sector experts like building designers-constructors and estate managers will be main actors for market penetration of research and demonstration results. The relation among main actors can be summarised through the following figure.
The EBC membership will be established through a specific endorsement procedure.
This session will function as an e-round table for Club members, around which it is foreseen on-line debate among members. Through the debate, it is expected to:
• verify building market interest for innovative RTD&D results' transferring;
• identify the best RTD&D results for market transferring according to local market needs, according to the checking list developed by project team.
As indicated in the above figure, in order to give a concrete contribution to promoting the taking-up of European research results and innovative technologies in building sector, EBC members will make their efforts to develop innovative ideas for promoting sustainable development in building sector, through the implementation of pre-feasibilities of real cases.
From the Club, EBC members can take advantage of:
• the opportunity for having qualified and direct contacts with high level building and energy sector operators and experts;
• analyzing market potentiality of new products/components/systems at international level;
• international visibility as Club member through the Project web site;
• direct market introduction as Club member, together with their products, through project promotion activities;
• publication of their pre-feasibility studies on real cases, through project promotion activities and the project web site.
Furthermore, public acknowledgement will be achieved, through the EBC awards, for their efforts in supporting sustainable development in Europe .
